This harmonic joint module has a diameter of only 4 mm and weighs only 0.19 kg. Although small in size, it integrates a harmonic reducer, motor, encoder, driver, and brake. The main advantages of the harmonic joint motor are high integration, lightweight design, and high torque output. It can also be customized with a brake (the brake is locked when power is off and released before motion). The joint module can operate at extreme low temperatures down to -40°C, and the motor protection level can reach IP67 or IP68, making even deep-water operation possible. The absolute positioning accuracy can reach 0.05°, and the repeat positioning accuracy can reach 0.005°.
Intelligent weeding machines equipped with harmonic joint modules achieve more than 40 times the efficiency of manual weeding, with a single machine capable of completing weeding work on an average of 60 mu per day, far exceeding traditional manual efficiency.
