Austrian Machine Tool to Feature at Ninth CIIE Alongside Customs Measures

The ninth China International Import Expo is set to open in Shanghai on November 5, 2026, with Austrian company WFL's M35-G turn-mill machining center among the exhibits in the technical equipment area. The machine measures 9.1 meters in length and offers micrometer-level machining precision.
The expo has introduced 18 customs facilitation measures and established 123 dedicated customs service windows to support the movement of large precision equipment. For exhibitors bringing such machinery to the event, customs handling is an important step in getting equipment to the exhibition.
The presence of the WFL machine offers a view of international participation in China's high-end machine tool market. Whether the exhibition leads to longer-term commercial cooperation remains to be seen; the exhibit and customs arrangements alone do not establish any resulting orders or agreements.
