●  Introduction

The HONPINE M Series underwater collaborative robot is a heavy-duty subsea system for offshore operations, featuring a 4+1 DOF design for high-load tasks such as component handling, installation, and subsea cutting.
Made from AL6061 aerospace-grade aluminum with hard anodized treatment, it offers strong corrosion resistance. The system weighs 15 kg in air and 8 kg underwater, reducing ROV load, while delivering 12 kg payload, 1000 N gripping force, 1500 N cutting force, and 30 N·m wrist torque. The J5 joint provides a 0–200 mm range, and it operates at depths up to 300 m.
It uses servo motors, supports position control and ROS integration, and is compatible with master-slave teleoperation for intuitive remote operation. This underwater robotic arm system is designed for high-intensity offshore applications requiring strength, precision, and flexible control.

● Heavy-Duty Subsea Performance

The system delivers strong operational capability with a 12 kg payload, 1000 N gripping force, and 1500 N cutting force, enabling reliable handling of large subsea structures. With a 0–200 mm gripping range and 0–20 mm cutting stroke, it supports both heavy-duty grasping and precision underwater cutting tasks.


 Lightweight Marine Deployment Design

Weighing 15 kg in air and only 8 kg underwater, the system significantly reduces load pressure on ROVs and subsea platforms. This lightweight underwater performance improves stability, endurance, and maneuverability during offshore operations.


 High-Speed Actuation System

The wrist joint delivers up to 30 N·m torque, while the gripping and cutting modules provide fast response times—4.5 seconds for gripping and 8 seconds for cutting—ensuring efficient execution of subsea operations even under heavy load conditions.


● Intelligent Control & Robotics Integration

The system supports position control mode and ROS-based robotic integration, with standard RS485 and Ethernet communication interfaces. It also supports master-slave teleoperation, allowing intuitive remote control for complex underwater tasks.


● Full-Range Motion Capability

Joints J1 and J4 support continuous ±360° rotation, while J2, J3, and J5 offer motion ranges of 0–170°. Combined with the 4+1 DOF architecture, the system ensures flexible multi-angle operation in confined and complex underwater environments.


● Marine-Grade Corrosion Protection

Built with AL6061 aerospace aluminum alloy and hard anodized coating, the system provides strong resistance to seawater corrosion. It is engineered for long-term operation at depths of up to 300 meters, ensuring durability and reliability in harsh subsea conditions.
